The electronic physician discussion portal

a common discussion that seems to arise is that of choosing a practice management software solution that integrates well with an electronic medical record solution. Sometimes the electronic medical record functions well but the practice management software is either too complicated or does not integrate well. Can you have the best of both worlds? That is to say, can you have a fully functional electronic medical record system and also a well integrated and fully functional practice management solution which keeps everybody happy? I will be interested to hear which combinations you are using in this respect. We currently used the GE centricity product which interfaces well with theTouchworks electronic medical record system from Allscripts. Although not perfect it does have some problems which I will not go into here. Let me know your thoughts.
